Our Space:

Our main stage is 25′ deep x 32′ wide sprung dance floor with Rosco marley, an overhead lighting grid, 26′ warehouse ceilings, sound system and upright spinet piano.

Adjoining the main stage is our audience / lounge space with sofa style seating for ~ 15 and folding chairs for up to 40, a lunch / library area and accessible bathroom.

Rates:

Our regular non-profit rehearsal rental rates are $30/hr for occasional rentals, with a $5/hr discount for artists booking 10/hours or more of time or committing to a ongoing weekly time for at least 2 months.

Booking:

We welcome new rehearsal rental inquiries and suggest you email us at least two weeks in advance of your first desired date. We recommend at least 45 to 60 days advance booking for full day or multi-day intensives.

Lighting and Sound:

Our standard lighting plot is designed for rehearsals, photo and video production. It consists of Waveform Lighting high CRI LED washes along with LitePanels and Nanlite Forza II instruments. For rehearsal use access is provided via ipad.  For production usage we have an artnet based system, and 3 channel video projection.

Our PA system has both stereo PA mode for easy use by renters over bluetooth and  can also be used as a 64 channel immersive Dante based system with an 8 channel Genelec speaker system.

Residencies, day rates and work trade:

For artists interested in residencies and intensives – we offer discounted multi-day rates, and welcome residency proposals. We have had dozens of groups create and rehearse works in our space from solo fringe shows to main stage YBCA and Zellerbach productions.

On a space and funding available basis we also have a limited number of work-trade rehearsal hours available.
