Welcome to the MilkBar
Thanks to everyone who made last fall's film festival a great success. For details of last year's festival. June 6th and June 7th is East Bay Open Studios. We're trying out open studios and hosting a weekend installation of Ian's new photo work and an installation of short films about water / submarine. Where we Are:

Where: The Milk Bar is located in East Oakland in the Sunshine Biscuit Factory
Complex. We are approx 1 mile from the Oakland Coliseum on 81st Ave, 1/2
block east of San Leandro Ave. Map quest can be deceiving in this area.photo ian winters

Take 880 south through Oakland. Exit at 66th Ave.At the end of the exit ramp turn left at the light onto 66th. Follow 66th Ave. past the Coliseum and turn right onto San Leandro Ave. Follow San Leandro past the Coliseum BART station until you hit 81st Ave.
Turn left onto 81st Ave., noticing the Sunshine Biscuit Factory complex on your left (that's where you're going).
Pass the first fenced driveway, and turn left at the 2nd, (also fenced) driveway across the street from Mothers Cookies Factory, You'll be met at the gate between 7:30 and 8:30 pm.
OPEN STUDIOS -- CALL 510 205 7103 if the gate is closed.
We are in studio # 223, the entrance is at the very left of the building. Latecomers call (510) 289-5188 or (510) 205-7103
BART / transit Directions:
We are biking/slightly long walk from BART. Take BART to the
Coliseum/Oakland Airport stop, exit onto San Leandro Ave., and proceed south
approx 2 intersections to 81st Ave. We are the 2nd fenced driveway on the
left, after turning left on 81st Ave. Please do not hesitate to call if you
are at all confused, we are available for rides back to BART after the show..
